Re:  Moratorium On Post Office Closures

Dear Ms. Greene:

I am writing to reiterate my request for a list of post offices covered by the moratorium on closures.

Minister Cannon's office has indicated that you are in "a better position to provide such a list" (see attached letter dated November 27th).

I am attaching, for your information, a series of letters I have sent to you, Minister Cannon and Prime Minister Harper in an attempt to obtain a copy of the list of post offices covered by the moratorium, as well as the letters I have received in response to my correspondence. As you will see, the union has been attempting, with no success, to obtain this list and detailed information on the process the corporation uses to close offices since June of 2006.

It is my hope that you will be able to provide a list and detailed information on the process you use fairly quickly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours truly,

Deborah Bourque
National President
